Since it's September, and more or less the start of fall (depending on how technical we are getting lol) I thought I would make you all fall….onto the floor from laughter with some embarrassing stories of mine lol. Cuz why not put some of my most star shining moments out there for everyone to see? Full send y'all. If you don't have it yet, grab your popcorn and an iced cold beverage because things are about to get really good lol.
We’ll start off small and work our way up towards the better...or should i say worse moments? Lol. I guess I will leave that judgment up to you guys haha
You know how people often fall downstairs??... Well, I fell UP. Yep, you read that correctly. I, Tessa Zalfen has managed to do the unthinkable. Something that people only dream of doing. Actually, probably not...but you get the gist. This happened when I was living in San Diego and working at my old summer job. I was going into our work trailer, and somehow by the grace of God lol I went flying on the stairs as I was walking up them. Thus resulting in me landing on my finger, and wait for it…..spraining it. I had to wear a little finger cast for the few days after and it made it look like I was constantly flipping people off. Not the best feature to have when working in customer service may I add lol. Just smile and wave boys, smile and wave.
Here comes another injury, because why not!! Lol. When I was younger I was in the backyard playing on the swings at my house. I was alone and just basking in the sunshine with a smile on my face when all of a sudden my sister (unknowingly may I add) comes whisking behind me in her barbie jeep and scaring the living bejesus out of me. Normally when scared you just scream (or as an adult, shout out some vulgar words lol) but instead my body decides to just fling itself off the swing set. And instead of going forward, I went backward. Don't ask me how...gravity? Physics? Stupidity? Lol. On the way down once I hit the ground (that kinda rhymed hehe) I fell on my arm. And yes, you guess correctly-yet another injury and sprain, I sprained it. I also instead of just telling people about it tried to hide it. But when I could barely move my arm an inch without crying out in pain, they already knew lol. Just classic young Tessa being an idiot...who am I kidding I am still an idiot lol.
Ironically before writing this, and I swear this is all just a coincidence, a lot of these stories (while talking about fall) contain falling. The best way I embarrass myself is through the pain I guess lmao (trust me there are soooo many other stories but that would be a full-fledge novel if I told yall).
My dorm my freshman year of college we had bunk beds. You guys probably already know where this is going haha. I was climbing down from my bunk one day and misstepped on my way down. My roommate's chair was next to my bed and wooooo my body made contact with that thing like it was peanut butter wanting to connect with jelly. On said fall, my butt took most of the impact, and let me tell ya something. That bruise was helllllllllllla cute (not). The funniest, but also the worst part of the story was that my roommate only cared that my ass somehow managed to break her hairbrush lol. And she didn't even ask if I was ok, as I was holding a bag of ice against my cheeks hahahaha.
Do you guys ever forget when sunglasses are on your head? That your phone is in your pocket? Or you know….that you placed your plate of food on the chair that you are about to sit back down on? Nahhhh, that last one is just me lol? Ok cool. Yeah….a few months back...when I was streaming may I add.. I was eating In N Out while playing some Mario kart with one of my best friends and roommates Ashlee, and I had set down my plate of food on my chair after I had gotten up to fix something. And welllllll let's just say I sat on my burger hahahaha. And quite a few people witnessed it, and it is now forever ingrained in my twitch channel on the internet for everyone to see. Vibing and Thriving clearly.
This one is actually my most recent embarrassing story (not counting my daily moments of pure geniuses lol) and also happened to occur on stream and in front of a few...like thirty people lol. For my birthday, I had decided to do a 6+ hour stream to celebrate turning twenty-four and while I was doing Just Dance my foot got caught on one of the decorations that I had hanging on the wall behind me. Your girl got to live her best Lizzie McGuire moment because she went flyyyying to the floor lol. Happy Birthday to me - mother nature was like hey wanna wake up with a few bruises tomorrow girl. Yeah sureeee why not lol. Once again, clearly vibing and thriving.
Ooooooo this story hehehehehe. I won't give ALL the details, but what I will do though, is give ya guys the SparkNotes version lol. I was in the hospital one night and when I was getting discharged I had asked why my hand was hurting so much. I had gotten IVs before and never was I that sore after getting them removed. However….the nurse had told me that I had to be given another because I...wait for it….ripped the first one out. I don't know how or why I did it, most likely it was because I was sick and out of it. Orrrr it could have also been due to my clear need to you know just live an extremely eventful life and have fun stories to tell. The world may never know lol. But what I do know is that my hand looked like it had punched barney the dinosaur for the next month. Not gonna lie, I think that was probably my most shining moment just because of the full-fledge story and night that it is paired with. Buuuuuut that's a story for another time folks ;) lol
And there ya have it friends, a few little snippets into the finest moments of my life.
This was all barely scratching the surface, I mean let's be real I embarrass myself at least five hundred times every single day. It’s just a part of who I am. I’m an entertaining personality is what I have been told, and I embrace it full fledge.
