Wow-what a week this has been. From good news to extremely stressful moments and everything in between. It’s definitely one that has kept me on my toes that’s for sure (shoutout to my apartment complex gym for legitimately keeping me on my toes lol).
In my last post, I talked about how I got to step foot back on Disney property and experience a little bit of the magic that I know millions of others have been missing over the course of this last crazy year. And for those who have been following along with the news of the parks, you may know that this past weekend it was announced that Disneyland and Disney California Adventure would officially be reopening their gates at the end of April (cue confetti and balloons ~ woooo!!). And as exciting as this is, it's also incredibly nerve-wracking (can attest to being both excited and nervous). For us cast members this is something that we have anxiously been waiting to hear - and even with the announcement, the anxiety is still there. With everything being so limited with the tier systems California has in place (which I for one have been a fan of, as I believe it has truly helped stop/slow the spread) we don’t know if or when we will get the callback as the parks won’t open anywhere near the original capacity - for guests and cast members alike. It’s one big waiting game (it’s like waiting to hear if I got accepted into the DCP all over again lol). I would be lying if every time my phone rang with an Anaheim-based area code these last three hundred and sixty-five days that my heart wasn’t skipping a few beats. It’s been a wild roller coaster these last twelve months, but here's to hoping that from here on out things continue to look up. Like dory says “when life gets you down do you know what you’ve gotta do? just keep swimming.” We’ve got this CMs, I am rooting for each and every single one of you and I am praying that you get to go back to creating magic soon <3
And not only are we celebrating the opening of Disney, but we also have some biiiiiiiiig things happening next week here on Here’s The T. That’s right you heard me. We will be celebrating our one year!!!!! Ahhhhhhhh!!!!!!

I can’t believe that It’s already been that long. I have loved getting to spend (nearly) every week with you all and sharing my passion for writing. For so long this site was a dream of mine, and to see it become a reality was truly astonishing. I cant wait to see what this next year has in store and I look forward to continuing to speak my truth and be vulnerable with you guys <3 Thank you for all your love and support along the way - it has truly meant the absolute world.
